Guide
How it works
Follow these steps to get the best results from 3vise.
Identify your corrupt files
Gather the mp3 files in Serato that are labeled with a lightning bolt, but that still load and play audio OK. Put them in their own crate so you can keep track of this subset of music throughout the repair process.
Run a Scan and Repair
Drag and drop the corrupted mp3s onto the 3vise app interface. Enable the option to backup the corrupted songs, and click Scan and Repair to begin the process. Don't select Scrub Metadata just yet.
Analyze in Serato
Go back to your Serato crate and re-analyze the corrupted tracks. The files that 3vise labeled as Successfully Repaired should no longer have the lightning bolt next to them.
Enable Scrub Metadata
For any remaining corrupt files, clear the file list and re-add them. This time, enable Scrub Metadata set to Serato mode to remove Serato-specific ID3 data that could be causing issues.
Scrub All & Re-analyze
If files are still marked as corrupt, run one more pass with Scrub Metadata set to All β this removes all ID3 data except Title, Artist, Album, and Comment, giving the file a truly clean slate.
Check for Updates
Some songs may remain corrupt after all processes. Check for app updates regularly β new repair methods are continually being added to handle edge cases.
Optimized
Fully compatible with Apple Silicon
3vise runs natively on M1, M2, M3, and M4 Macs β no Rosetta required.
